About the Item
“Lady Liberty” - unique silver gelatin print (one of my earlier photograms), 11.8x 15.7.” Printed on (UK sized) Forte Polywarmtone Plus in June 2020.
This unique silver gelatin print was made with lace & flowers and exposed with a flashlight (about a week before my “Into the Ether” series commenced) - when I first began exploring experimental photography.
For those who are unaware, I began making photograms with alternate light sources in June 2020 due to having an unfinished darkroom in/taking over my apartment at the time. 3 years (and 6 bodies of work, as well as several awards) later, they have become responsible for the bulk of my post-covid income, via teaching and art sales. And I couldn’t be more grateful…
I look forward to teaching some of my photogram processes in upcoming workshops - at The Photographer's Eye Collective in Southern California on July 19th and online via The Center for Fine Art Photography (in Fort Collins, CO). Please join me if you feel inclined.
